The Murray Student Center serves as the focal point of the College, bringing together all members of the community and college life.

The original building, a 66,000-square-foot, three-story structure, was completed in 1965. Renovations and expansion during the summer of 1994 added an additional 63,000 square feet. In 2014, the Fusco Music Center (which is connected to the Student Center) was opened, and the renovations were complete.

The Student Center is connected to the Midrise residence hall by a three-story domed rotunda which provides the main entry into both the Student Center and the Midrise residence. There is also a four-acre campus green adjacent to the Student Center overlooking the Hudson River. A glass-enclosed south entry connects the Student Center with Champagnat Hall. The Champagnat Courtyard, which leads into the entry, was redesigned in 1989 through the generosity of the Reese family.

The Student Center provides various student services and serves as a comfortable place for students to meet, organize and attend a variety of events. Facilities and services within the Student Center and Music Building include: classroom and meeting rooms, Nelly Goletti Theatre, music practice rooms, dining services, Health and Wellness Center,  student lounge, Student Government office, Fusco Recital Hall, Symphonic Hall, campus post office, and campus bookstore.

On Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. 直到下午2点.m., the College 有 designated a three-hour time slot as an activity hour when classes are not held. The "activity hour" enables students, particularly commuter students, to participate in the various club meetings and Student Center programs. Barron's Best Buys in College Education 有 noted that there are a variety of high-quality social activities on campus, including comedians, 咖啡馆, 电影之夜, and student theatre productions.
